Student experiences and enrichment
- Programs and activities that make school more engaging and memorable.
School events and celebrations
- Experiences that bring students, families, and staff together.
Classroom and school resources
- Support for educational needs and student-centered programs.
Student activities and special opportunities
- Funding that helps expand what is possible for Transit students.
Staff support and appreciation
- Programs that recognize and support the educators and staff who serve our students every day.
Every registered student receives a gray paw-print Pack Band. Individual prizes are cumulative, and students can also qualify for special recognition, homebase honors, grade-level experiences, and schoolwide unlocks.
Students registered by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 will automatically be included in the Wolf Pack Family Fun sweepstakes.
Pack Bands are distributed during the campaign, generally within about 48 hours after a qualifying milestone is verified. Higher-level prizes will be ordered after final totals are verified, with distribution targeted for the week of October 19th. Families will be notified if shipping or product availability causes a delay.
The student with the highest verified individual fundraising total across all grades will be named the 2026 Pack Leader.
One student earns the top honor and will receive the exclusive TMS Color Run 2026 Pack Leader blanket.
The Pack Leader will be revealed poolside at the Principal Pool Plunge & Popsicles Party.
The top 3 verified fundraisers from each grade will be invited to the Principal Pool Plunge & Popsicles Party.
That means 12 students total — 3 from each grade.
Students qualify individually and attend the event whether or not their homebase is invited.
One of these 12 students will be revealed poolside as the overall 2026 Pack Leader.
Students will help their homebase compete in two separate pack challenges:
Power of the Pack
Awarded to the homebase with the highest average amount raised per enrolled student.
The winning Power of the Pack homebase will earn a Cider & Donut Holes Homebase Celebration, and its teacher will receive a $25 Target gift card.
Power in Numbers
Awarded to the homebase with the highest percentage of students registered for the campaign.
The winning Power in Numbers homebase will earn a Cookies & Milk Homebase Celebration, and its teacher will receive a $25 Target gift card.
In addition, the Top Fundraising Homebase and Top Registration Homebase from each grade will be invited to the Principal Pool Plunge & Popsicles Party.
The two schoolwide homebase Champions will be revealed poolside at the event.
A homebase may win both top prizes if it legitimately finishes first in both categories.
Every milestone unlocks more fun for TMS — and the experiences build as we climb together!
These schoolwide experiences are cumulative, so when TMS reaches a new milestone, we keep everything already unlocked.
To keep the campaign fair and consistent for all students:
Fundraising totals are based on donations officially credited to a student’s campaign by the published campaign deadline. Final totals will be reviewed and verified before prizes and recognition are awarded.
Individual fundraising totals determine milestone prizes and the overall Pack Leader.
The top 3 verified fundraisers from each grade qualify individually for the Principal Pool Plunge & Popsicles Party.
Power of the Pack is determined by the highest average amount raised per enrolled student in a homebase.
Power in Numbers is determined by the highest percentage of students registered in a homebase.
Grade-level goals are calculated using the average amount raised per enrolled student in each grade.
Schoolwide achievement unlocks are reached when the published overall fundraising milestones are met.
Unless otherwise stated, prize eligibility is based on verified campaign totals.
If an advertised prize becomes unavailable, TMS PTSA may substitute an item of comparable value.
In the event of an exact verified tie, TMS PTSA may recognize all tied students or homebases when practical. If a single placement must be determined, timing may be used as the tiebreaker, with the student or homebase that first reached and verified the tied result receiving the higher placement. Final tie determinations will be made at the discretion of TMS PTSA.
Final decisions regarding campaign totals, prize eligibility, and recognition will be made after verification by TMS PTSA.

No donation or fundraising minimum is required to register.
Every registration helps strengthen the Pack!
Families should use the official TMS Color Run campaign registration link or QR code to create a student campaign page.
Once registered, students can share their individual campaign page with family and friends.
No. Students do not need to register or fundraise in order to participate in the Color Run! The Color Run is meant to be an inclusive and FREE event that is open to all TMS students!
Registration simply allows students to create a fundraising page, track their progress, and qualify for campaign prizes and recognition.
ALL students who register, regardless of dollars raised, will receive a gray paw-print Pack Band.
Supporters can donate directly through a student’s personal campaign page.
Online donations are automatically credited to that student’s campaign total.
To keep prizes, recognition, homebase competitions, grade-level goals, and schoolwide milestones consistent and fair, TMS PTSA will use the following rules when calculating fundraising totals:
Online student donations: The donation amount credited to a student’s personal Color Run fundraising page counts toward that student’s verified fundraising total. It also contributes to applicable homebase, grade-level, and schoolwide totals.
Credit-card processing fees: Standard credit-card processing fees are an expense of accepting an online donation and do not reduce the fundraising amount credited to the student for prizes, recognition, or competition purposes. These fees do not count as additional fundraising.
Optional Givebacks tips: Tips are completely optional and are paid directly to Givebacks. They do not go to TMS PTSA and do not count toward any student, homebase, grade-level, or schoolwide fundraising total.
Cash donations: Cash donations count after they have been received, processed, and officially credited to the appropriate student. Once verified, they count toward the student’s total and all applicable homebase, grade-level, and schoolwide totals.
Check donations: Check donations count only after the check has cleared and the contribution has been officially credited to the appropriate student. Once verified, they count toward the student’s total and all applicable homebase, grade-level, and schoolwide totals.
Business sponsorships: Business sponsorships support the overall TMS Color Run campaign and may be included in the schoolwide fundraising total and schoolwide milestone unlocks. They are separate from student fundraising and do not count toward individual prize levels, Pack Leader standings, homebase averages, registration percentages, or grade-level averages.
All prizes, recognition, rankings, and milestone determinations are based on verified totals maintained by TMS PTSA.
Why does Givebacks ask me to add a tip?
Givebacks hosts our fundraiser using its fee-free Tip Model. At checkout, Givebacks may suggest an optional tip to support its platform. Donors may choose a preset amount or select “Enter custom tip” and enter any amount of $0 or greater.
Tips are completely optional and go directly to Givebacks, not TMS PTSA, and they do not count toward a student's fundraising total. Standard credit-card processing fees still apply to online donations.
TMS PTSA is a nonprofit organization. Donors should retain their receipt and consult their tax professional regarding deductibility.
Yes. In addition to your donation receipt, a donation confirmation letter may be requested for tax-record purposes by emailing Beth-Anne McPhillips, PTSA President, at tmptsa.president@gmail.com.
Please allow time for processing. Letters will begin processing on Monday, October 19, 2026, after campaign contributions have been received and verified.
Letters may be picked up in the TMS Main Office or sent home with your student. Please include your preferred delivery method in your email request.
Yes! Student campaign pages can be shared electronically, making it easy for family and friends near or far to support a student.
Yes! Fundraising will remain open through the published campaign deadline, even after the Color Run takes place.
Individual prizes are earned by reaching the published fundraising milestones shown on the Individual Prize Guide. Additional drawings, challenges, homebase competitions, grade-level goals, and schoolwide achievement unlocks may have separate eligibility requirements that will be clearly announced.
Yes! Unless a prize announcement states otherwise, students who reach higher fundraising levels will receive the prizes associated with each qualifying level.
Prizes are based on verified fundraising totals.
Online contributions can generally be verified quickly. Cash contributions must first be collected and recorded, and check contributions must clear before they are included in a student’s verified total.
TMS PTSA may substitute a prize of comparable value if an advertised item becomes unavailable.
If two or more students or homebases finish with the same verified total or percentage, TMS PTSA may recognize all tied participants when practical.
If a single placement must be determined, timing may be used as the tiebreaker, with the student or homebase that first reached and verified the tied result receiving the higher placement.
Final tie determinations will be made at the discretion of TMS PTSA.
Wear white so your true colors can show!
Students should wear comfortable white or light-colored clothing that they don’t mind getting colorful. Color powder may leave some staining, so we recommend leaving favorite clothes and brand-new (or favorite) sneakers at home.
By the finish line, white probably won't be white anymore — that's part of the fun!
Color Run powder is designed for events like this, but we cannot guarantee that every color will completely wash out of every fabric or shoe material. Students should wear clothing and footwear that families are comfortable getting colorful.
Please dress accordingly!
Families should contact the school regarding any medical, respiratory, allergy, sensory, or other concerns that could affect participation. The school will provide guidance regarding accommodations or participation options.
Students who cannot participate in the physical Color Run may still participate in the fundraising campaign and schoolwide activities. Families should contact the school regarding event-day accommodations.
For fundraising, registration, donation, or prize questions, contact:
tmptsa.president@gmail.com
For school-day participation or student-specific concerns, families should contact the appropriate TMS staff member.
Yes, but online donations are preferred.
For offline donations, the time of credit is based on when the donation becomes verified and eligible to be counted, not when the envelope is dropped off.
Cash and checks must be placed in a sealed envelope and deposited in the locked TMS Color Run drop box located in the Main Office.
Please do not give cash or checks to teachers or staff members.
Be sure the envelope clearly identifies the student who should receive credit for the donation. This should include their FIRST and LAST NAME as well as their grade and homebase teacher.
Cash donations will be credited to the student’s campaign after the donation is collected from the locked drop box and processed.
Check donations will be credited after the check has cleared.
Because checks require additional processing time, families should allow extra time before expecting those donations to appear in campaign totals.
All checks should be made payable to: Transit Middle School PTSA
Because checks must clear before they can be included in verified fundraising totals, families should submit checks early enough to allow for processing before the campaign deadline. TMS PTSA cannot guarantee that checks received near the deadline will clear in time to count toward prizes or rankings.
